The choice is vast

To make life easier, all walking tracks in Vorarlberg are uniformly marked and signposted.

It's easy to assess the difficulty rating of a particular path, just by looking at the colour of the markings:

  • Yellow/white markings mean very easy footpaths and gentle walking tracks
  • Red/white markings indicate mountain walking tracks
  • White/blue/white markings refer to alpine hiking trails, where sure-footedness and a good head for heights are required.
